For those of you who didn't know

Hey guys,
Reason for why I didn't update is because there actually isn't anything to update. I was going to update when I had news but I guess I should just post anyways.

I haven't seen the designer since about 2 days ago, guess he's pretty busy with college, but when I last spoke to him (2 days ago), he told me he's really close to getting it done.
To make things clear with everyone, since I don't think everyone's on the same page, Rob (designer) is around 16~17 in college, he's by no means a professional webdesigner by occupation but he's doing this for us and he has experience in this area as he does freelance webdesigning jobs.
Also, he's hosting us for free on his server and doing this for us free of charge as well. That's why when I mentioned to give him more time for his other paid jobs, it's because he's doing it for us out of goodwill.

I've shopped around designers,both local and online to ask for prices, and they gave crazy high prices that our donations collected can't be enough to afford both server,domain and labour fees + manga script viewer etc. So for Rob to be doing this for us, I'm really grateful.
Of course, when we were beginning and I haven't met Rob yet, (Originally had another coder and webdesigner to work for us) we were open for donations as we were supposed to pay our previous hired designers for their work. But as time passed, they couldn't produce anything so we moved onto Rob, that's why the process seems to be a little too long.

The donations collected by our bankholder, Latosha is still with us but when I last spoke to her, we agreed to return the donations back to the kind donators as we actually aren't needed to pay for anything. So we didn't want to pocket the donations for ourselves.

I hope this will shed some light on our matter, I didn't want there to be any misunderstandings on where the donations were going, what the designer is doing and why he isn't getting it done, etc.

On a side note,
When the time comes, I plan to step down from the position of co-admin and pass it onto the other admins (Latosha and Sara). And will look into promoting Aznasim into a co-admin/global mod.
I've regrettably come to that decision after some time as I felt like I wasn't able to contribute as much as I would've thought 1 month ago when I still had a job and things were less hectic for me.
Also, with time, I just lost the interest for a bit, and I will be travelling abroad when I have worked and saved up enough.
I will leave the site in the capable hands of the rest of the mutiny members and some others when the site is up.
I did promise a site and a site is what I'll be giving to you guys so I don't intend to leave until the site is up.

Update #4

Hi Kiddies,

So as you may have seen from previous post, Shin backed out after going on vacation for a week.
In that week we were expecting things to be ready, and I guess we put too much hope on it.
But anyways, although Shin has backed out, we are still moving full speed ahead with our plans.
We changed some details we originally agreed on,but to date, this is what we have ready

-Website and coders (we are working with them on getting the site up ASAP, it's hard since we're all in different time zones)
-We decided on our site name, but we won't release it until everything is ready
-Also, we have a new bankholder, so if you are looking to help along with our finances for the new site, please let us know.It's very much appreciated ;D

I won't post the donation link until I've finalized everything

Hey guys,

Sorry I was gone for a couple of days so I had no chance to reply and update you guys on what's going on.
Thank god my best right-wing woman *LOL* Euphoria did so.
Also, I got updated by her that Shin, who was supposed to co-open the manga site with me just decided to back out of the project. Needless to say, I was terribly disappointed.
He claimed to return donations, and I got my money back. But can you guys please double check your paypal ->History, and see if the money is back?

Anyways, we are back to square 1, and honestly, Sara and I been thinking of backing out after Shin's betrayal. But we won't because we promised you guys a manga site. And hell, you guys will get one.

Please just give us some time while we take everything upon us to complete it as best as we could.

Hi guys,

Sorry if there hasn't been updates lately, been pretty busy with getting stuff done in my personal life.
Anyways, as of right now, I'm not sure how much we've collected so far as Shin is in charge of getting donations and he's away for a trip.
Told me he'd come back after a few days (told me last Thursday) so I'm assuming it will be soon?

A big thanks to everyone who donated, when shin gets back, I'll update you guys on what's happening. But other than that, we've got our plan on what's going to happen, and our webdesigner who's going to be working on our site.

Hey guys,

Some of you are wondering why I'm not sending an individual email but chose to post this here.
Well, I'm kinda lazy to reply to 30+emails, not that I don't appreciate it, but I keep forgetting whom I've replied what to. So to make things easier, I will just post updates and stuff here. So please check back from time to time, and bookmark this page.

First of all, The Mutiny (People who are in with me in this project) would like to say a big thank you for the support we got from you guys.
All of us were once loyal supporters of MangaHut,some of us premium donators,some of us Mods and uploaders who spent the time, effort and put everything into the site, or others, lurkers who were in the community.
We came together as a group of friends who remain tight, and would like to make something similar to what MangaHut was to us, a place we could lurk,(and stalk little kids) or a place to talk about useless things like robbing the bank,etc.
Take note however, we might want to be what MangaHut WAS,not IS. But we will be different in every way. We will take pride in our work and not have biased personal reasons to promote,demote or let the site go up in flames.

We've taken the initiative to make a site of our own where people could find the sanctuary MH(MangaHut) once gave. Some of us chip in from our own pockets, some of us got it from kind donations.

So in summary to my long-ass speech,
Thank you for giving us your kind support, offering any help you could possibily give in terms of offering uploads,donations,etc.

We aren't going to demand you give us some money as what the site is costing us so far is kinda expensive, but we will greatly appreciate any donation that come our way, no matter how small or big the amount, be it a couple of dollars or tens.
